lyrics
“Follow into the dilapidated valley - a sanction of aversion. Heed prudence, mindful of the vile beasts within.” They dissipate into the dusk of the tormented egress. Forty-seven serpent heads slither into the depths, lusting to constrict and devour my extremities. Ophidian orbs of hundred gaze into my soul. This otherworldly journey has begun. Sprint swiftly to isolation from the brutes of plague. Yet they still chase within the dusk of the tormented egress. These villains run rampant, thirsting for my blood and flesh. Fucking carnivorous critters long to purge my sin through excessive mauling and torture. Torture. Torture. Torture. Above, a behemoth perched upon the watchtower who views my struggles within his land. Mouth full of daggers, organized to masticate the flesh and bone of trespassing foes. The hunt begins. Snakes constrict upon my limbs as to harness me for my demise. Lord of torment narrows further with desire to pulverize.
Belie the darkness. I no longer succumb. Godhead incarnate I have become.
My power runs rampant, thirsting for my raging vengeance. Fucking carnivorous creature I have become through excessive mauling and torture. Torture. Torture. Torture. They dissipate into the dusk of the tormented egress.

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu

i checked out bands coming to my town, and xoth were on the list. at first i thought they were cheesy since i only liked metal to be deep, dark, and atmospheric .
i did enjoy the technical complexity, so i gave them another chance. i equated shredding with jockishness (ugh), but i now see it as a creative choice. i just had to approach it on my own terms, and xoth was the perfect gateway for this. they really opened up a new world for me. quasiotter

Distilled death metal with catchy riffs and well written songs. It's not reinventing the wheel or anything but it's osdm, if that's what you want look elsewhere. grahamy

I dig this album so much, definitely a keeper. Subtly and masterfully mixing death metal subgenres, backed with an over the top production. They're true professionals. Can't wait for their next release! doive
